Assistant Vice President and Agricultural Loan Officer with FirsTier Bank Omaha at Fort Collins, Colorado, 1986-1988. Managed Colorado and Kansas loan portfolio of $12.5 million dollars; presented numerous client seminars.

Credit Analyst with Farm Credit Banks of Omaha, 1985-1986. Duties included review of credit applications, appraisals, and compliance to regulations.

Joined Norwest Bank Omaha in 1982 as agricultural loan officer at Omaha, Nebraska. Duties included managing agricultural loan portfolio and managing and liquidating bank owned agricultural properties. Participated in Senior Loan Committee to review all credit requests. Conducted departmental meetings and customer seminars.

Employed 1977-1982 as Area Loan Manager with Equitable Life Assurance Society in Kearney, Nebraska. Duties consisted of appraisal of real estate for loan purposes and loan negotiations. Led discussion groups on various aspects of lending and appraisal.

Seven years in seed corn sales with Dekalb AG Research at Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Funk Seeds International at Kearney, Nebraska. 1970-1977. Conducted sales training and product seminars for dealers and customers.

APPRAISAL REPORTS: Banks, savings and loans, insurance companies, attorneys, State of Nebraska, Kearney Public Schools, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Farmers Home Administration, railroads, and individuals. Completed and reviewed 1,200 appraisals of commercial, industrial, agricultural, and residential properties from 1988 through 1998.

EXPERT WITNESS TESTIMONY: U.S. District Court (Omaha, Nebraska), District Court (Madison County, Thayer County, Platte County, Nebraska), County Court (Buffalo County, Valley County, Dawson County, Hall County, Nebraska), and Bankruptcy Court (North Platte, Nebraska; Sioux City, Iowa).

EQUITABLE LIFE ASSURANCE SOCIETY: Completed over 300 appraisals of farms and ranches for lender underwriting purposes.

Managed single and multi-family residential properties. Managed agricultural crop land and rangeland. Managed commercial office building. Provided office management expertise to medical doctor’s office. Duties included negotiating leases, investing proceeds, overseeing construction and maintenance, and reporting to owners.
